Because no american election has been that interesting, its always been two liberal candidates never a nationalist or an Übermensch, and Andrew Jackson might fit the nationalist label but he doesn't have the same pr as A.H due no cool uniform designs and not having cool campaigns

Campaigns were different in 1828. You can't compare an 1828 campaign with a 1928 campaign

The Confederates (which were after Andrew Jackson had already died) had cool uniforms
