18mm maxilla advancement via Lefort 1 at 14.

For context I was born with a severe underbite due to bad luck in the womb, not genetic. People are asking for photos so here were my results.
I am aware of my other features btw.
I plan to get rhinoplasty ASAP.
I'd include front profile but I recently underwent the 2nd surgery to remove the plates holding my jaw together to allow it to heal so my face is swollen rn. If people are interested I'll post later.

BUTT it wouldn't hurt to try, might aswell give it a shot since you're 14.

Try and force yourself to have good habits, I want to see what's possible if you start at 14.

I'll definitely try. I'm going to do anything I can within my money range and see how I am by the end of freshman year. biggest concern is if i grow my mandible to long then i'll just have another bad underbite again lol

still below average sadly. your lefort 1 was purely functional and it didnt ascend you in the way a regular guy would ascend from a lefort 1.
still, mirin ascension.

Do you have normal bite now?

no unfortunately. i was going to do 20mm but the method of advancement was by turning these 2 distractors everyday, and towards the end of the movement period they started digging into my inner upper lip bad to the point one side is still scarred so i couldnt make it to 20mm. the surgeons thought i nonly needed 15mm and that wasnt even enough. not sure what went wrong because when they were planning it out 15mm was supposed to be enough. i can send a photo of my bite, its probably about 1-2mm off.
