I’ve been trying to educate myself as much as possible on my surgical options and I think hearing from people with personal experience would help more than reading clinical descriptions. my choices are either Bimax or a LeFort 1-2 procedure, I understand I’m not a top candidate for this and since my situation is purely cosmetic, I’m trying to understand which option would make more sense from an aesthetic standpoint in the long term. I’m interested in facial balance, profile changes, and overall harmony, but I’m also thinking about recovery, risks, and how stable the results tend to be over time. If anyone here has had either procedure for cosmetic reasons or had to choose between the two, I would really appreciate hearing what guided your decision, how the recovery process was, and whether you’re happy with how everything healed and settled.
