A 19-year-old woman from the state of Madhya Pradesh in India left her marital home and eloped with another man.
For that, she was tied to a tree and assaulted with sticks by her own family.
The woman was dangling from the branch of a tree as her kin hit her with sticks even as she pleaded for mercy and help.
She was dragged to the ground and they kept beating her with sticks
The sticks broke but her family members did not stop. The entire village cheered as she was being assaulted and after the beating she was paraded on donkey with her face blackened by the villagers
