For the Ukrainian people, I consider that the USSR, especially during the stalin period, was
just destruction of people and culture , even worse than the german one. Even immediately after the war, the poles and russians started it again. Operation Visla and Operation West. The Ukrainian Liberation Army fought side by side with the Germans until the very end, even near Berlin. The SS Galicia Division was defeated in the battle of Brody. The Reichskommissariat Ukraine would not have been a bad option, but the ukrainian people would have eventually been assimilated. By the way, I have heard stories about Germans being in villages; this confirms the intentions of Generalplan Ost. They praised people who had livestock and well-maintained farms, while they humiliated the lazy ones.
