Watch this like you're watching National Geographic.

Before you click play. Assume that everything Kris is saying, is Freudian, coming from his subconscious mind, and describing HIMSELF, and HIS SITUATION.

Good to learn his first-hand POV. I haven't ever seen projection on such a stark level.

@piec Thoughts?

Tbh fascinating channel his coping mechanisms are insane. I do believe he is intelligent though tbh, just very very misguided with an over analyzing personality.

He has said before that he walks outside and has "Glamour models approach him, but he rejects them because he's in flow state focused on business and just trying to grab a coffee"

I couldn't find any clinical psychological literature on how deep coping mechanisms and delusion can run in human beings that top his channel. His channel is an absolute goldmine. Have the whole thing archived. It shows so much about Freudian psychology, worldview alteration aversion and misaligned steadfastness. Literally can't find anything anywhere else on this level.

How do you feel about his advice in the video you linked however? Besides the coping, do u think the advice in his videos is solid? What pieces of advice in his videos do you think are very important?

I liked his earlier advice regarding money but he’s gone mad now with his scams

Yeah he's right. You should max out a 9-5 and earn money instead of looking for shortcuts, especially if you are coming from a place where you haven't inherited wealth or don't have time to waste with giga-rich parents.

What he's saying is a projection of what he should've done. Maybe he was contemplating just sticking out at 9-5? I believe he is in debt without a higher education and no father, and he's struggling even after the inheritance because he just can't generate revenue. So he subtly talks about how hard it is to generate wealth and gives credence to careers and 9-5s, which is really honest and reflective from him since he used to bash them years ago.

He still stays in the fight which I really like to see.

I still think he is a scumbag.

The 1M house where he tried to get people to pay off property mortgages on his behalf. The undelivered supplements etc. He is a scumbag ready to renege on his morals and sell out, just no one wants to buy him out.

I hope he keeps self reflecting. Because I believe he has a tough life and everyone deserves to be content and fulfilled so long as they are no a force for malevolence.

We can DM about this if you’d like. It’s funny but I’ve been watching the dude for 2 years and i see the threads you make on him. I watch him for the same reason you do—almost like a case study. His advice sometimes is decent tho. Def agree that male life can peak at a later age and it isn’t all about looks especially as you get older. However a lot of it seems like coping for him missing out on key experiences when young+not being as attractive as he was. I get the feeling he looked good in hs, but didn’t use it to his advantage and wasn’t with women. As time went on he looked worse and never was with anyone. I will be honest, he reminds me a bit of myself and I want to take all the lessons he learned so I don’t end up like him.

Our interest in him probably shows something about us

Yeah true.

I think he's a good guy deep down, but is under immense pressure to "succeed". I think he had a bad period around age 26 where he dropped out of his job, which was marketing for some software advertised to hedge funds. The problem is his lack of higher level education imo, which means he has no opportunity but to enter a blue collar job. But he's deferring and deferring.

Yeah our interest in him definitely stems from something we both want to understand better, perhaps something to avoid. I don't really listen to his advice but I watch his body language and what he says like a hawk. Basically like watching him cope rather than watching him to take his word literally.

In a way I feel sympathy for him, because he hasn't had the luckiest life, and is trying to get things to work now.

He often talks about how great he was (pre trauma), about when he was in Toronto (I think?), dating girls in his earlier 20s, the old passion project he had, (the predecessor to 1stman which he shut down)... some academy type thing.

I also watch him to see how often he holds onto things from the past and fakes a current identity. Like, I'll see every time he mentions how "It's no better to have a full head of hair", "You need to shave your head to really experience life etc". I just like seeing all angles and he projects a lot. It can be helpful and build perspective. But maybe I'm trying to figure something out for myself, based off his coping. My situation isn't similar, but obviously I have fears, difficulties, obstacles too.
