Today I went to a city to watch the England World Cup match with my friends. After leaving the pub we were at we walked along the Main Street in the town looking for another pub.
We walked past a group of 5 girls (all ltbs with one mtb). I saw them and said “excuse me do you guys know where we can watch the game”. Then they all started yapping about places when one mentioned a pub that was 21+ only when drinking age in uk is 18+. Then I mentioned that and the girl said it’s alright im 22. (Keep in mind we are all 18)
Then all 4 of my friends walked ahead of me whilst I chatted to this group of 5 girls. I held onto the convo for dear life and kinda farmed enough aura to be group leader. They basically followed me for like 15 mins. After 5 mins my friends ran off tho to be funny and ‘wingman me’. And I was making jokes for the 10 mins I was alone like “it’s alright ladies follow me”. And they just laughed and kept following.
Then I said “why don’t you guys go here” to a random pub we walked past cos “I need to find my friends”. And “I’ll be back later” and they said ok and I found my friends and we just took a train back to our hometown. Also the one mtb I walked side by side with her for like 10 mins and it was chill, wasn’t awkward a single time so I’m decently happy with my performance. I should’ve got her snap or something tho after saying “cya later” (perfect opportunity to say “can I get ur snap to reconnect later”) but I crumbled under pressure and probs never gonna see them again
