Both should work either way but eplerenone makes more sense as it is tied to the working of oral minox.

Eplerenone blocks aldosterone which signals RAAS in your kidneys to retain more water.

Bloat from oral minox isn't that common anyways, hctz should work and you can use it if you the stock. You should consider switching to eplerenone if you experience major bloat from the drug.
