2 Days Pos OP LeFort 1

Finally stopped coping and got my lefort 1
I was very slightly recessed and needed repair in my maxilla from a prior cyst in turkey right now and mf surgeon decided not to use general anesthesia but there is 0 pain even without the painkillers he has given me
I cannot pull up my lip cuz there is a chance the stitches rip but I have the mid op pictures I requested

the amount of blood, time and risk in general absolutely does not allow to perform this procedure under local anaesthesia. this is not a willy nilly wisdom tooth removal, downfracture of the maxilla would literally choke you to death from the bleeding.

It was a partial LeFort 1 as I explained in the dms

As it was a maxillary cyst repair and a partial LeFort 1 I didn't need general anesthesia they can advance the maxilla by up to 9mm without a full insicion they advanced mine 5mms

5mm of advancement it's not crazy but I wasn't recessed in the first place this was just me convincing my parents to let me do this with the same surgeon who was doing a repair on my maxilla for a prior cyst

I felt pressure but it wasn't super uncomfortable in any way shape or form 0 pain during procedure post stitching ect I could leave the place without any trouble even after anesthesia ran out there was practically nothing more than a slight headache which disappeared on the first day post op

My lower teeth would kinda press into my upper teeth in a uncomfortable way but it wasn't such a issue I wanted this for cosmetic reasons but now I have a more comfortable bite so that's also good
