2 months using tret 0.025% should i consider a upgrade?

I think two months is enough time to switch to the 0.05% strength. If you haven't experienced any new inflammation especially in areas that were clear before you started treating your acne you can switch to the 0.05% cream, otherwise, if you're unsure you could continue using the 0.025% gel for another month

A cream is usually better because the skin responds more favorably to it and generally tolerates it more gently, although in reality, both gels and creams are equally beneficial

If you experienced any issues such as inflammation I strongly advise against switching to 0.05 right away. If you continue using the 0.025 concentration and wait another two months before moving up to 0.05, you won't be any worse off. However, the same cannot be said if you switch to 0.05 immediately, doing so could trigger an acne flare-up, and it is impossible to predict exactly how your skin will react

Depends on your skin. Personally, I moved up after 6 weeks from 0.025 to 0.05 because my skin was tolerating it fine even with daily use. If you notice your skin isn't as sensitive or inflamed, after a week or two you can move up, just acclimatize and introduce it into your routine.

And one more thing: if you’re going to switch to 0.05%, switch to the cream first, and only then if you wish to the gel
