Main issue is since carnivore diet is essentially zero carbs that most of the difference in the two pictures comes from dropping 5-10 lbs of water weight which will be gained back if you ever go back to regular carb

Unless you were on lowish carb beforehand

What a stupid comment. Ketosis doesn’t magically negate the applicability of CICO.

What it does effectively in my experience is suppressing hunger and providing decent energy levels despite being in a high calorie deficit

Mirin bro, there visible changes, in the start you lose a lot of water weight, don't
be discouraged if you see that the diet slows down, you are still burning the same amount of fat.

CICO is obviously a necessity to lose weight, but when you consider the mental aspect which is as important to continue dieting,
Ketosis helps A TON with maintaining the diet since you have more energy and you are less hungry, it also reduces muscle loss as your body has more access to energy from fat rather then muscle due to lower insulin.

No i dont, i really ate when i was hungry till i was full, didnt care about calories

Thanks brotha i know, that is why im going on prolonged fast on june 1st. I will go for 10 days water and dry fast combined to speed up fatloss
