I obviously was not around but what was it that made the forum so good during the this time period? was it the humor? or was it the quality of threads? i see a lot ogs posting recently abt how the site fell off. seems like i missed some peak humor unfortunately

Been here since 2018 and every year people write the same thing about the forum changing and not being as good,

Site was way smaller so it felt like you knew everyone

Firstly there was no infestation of greycel tiktok kids and the like. Every user had character since discovering this place back then meant you had to be seriously mentally not normal. We had actual prominent users who were good looking and interacted with everyone while being balanced between mentally normal and schizo (Arvid, Salludon, etc mainly Arvid him leaving was insane). Nowadays we have fucking Funkyflamingo. Humour was more exclusive back then now it’s just unfunny zoomer jokes 90% of the time. Older users were also more brutal ogs remember the Ethereal cyber bullying days

Lookism was much better though that place was fucking brutal I miss it and I miss being a 16 yr old young cel on that place
