I don't think I did literally a single one of my 2021 resolutions.
The reason why everyone follows their resolutions for the first few weeks/days then drop off back to normal is because they give themselves too much and it's too much of a psychological change for the brain to handle.
It should be a gradual process so that you stick to it in the long term. For example, if you wanna start going gym and you've never been before, don't just go 5 days a week out of nowhere, cuz then you'll burnout quick. Instead maybe start off with going once or twice a week for a month, and then gradually increase the frequency so you get used to it.
Anyway here are my resolutions:
- try raw meat
- be happy everyday
- have a job
- go to university
- join a semi-pro football team
- go viral on tiktok or youtube
- go into a consistent sleep cycle
- move out of me parents house
- go outside more often
- complete all of my personal creative projects
- be able to fully play rex tremendae on piano
Can't rlly think of anything ngl.
Everyone share your resolutions and then in a year we can look back at what we all said we would do and the progress we made
