Being closer to average IQ automatically comes with more neurotypicallity and social skills/customs that better allign with a larger part of the population.

Being NT or not NT is mostly a question of IQ imo. You can't be high-NT when your IQ is more than a standard deviation away from the mean (above 115)

B, It's a no-brainer.

*with A you will basically be an average person which is nothing special and it's even a bad thing to have the brain of the average person.
*with B you will be extremely smart, smart enough to make a lot of money and have a good reputation with your achievements, but you will be nerdy and probably below average with social skills but the bottom 25% is nothing crazy, it's still worth it if you're gonna be top 1% book smart.
