I was around 20kgs heavier than I am in April so I lost quite a bit of weight. Besides that, I Ldared the entire year, didn't go anywhere, just stayed at home, played games and watched movies all whilst lying to my parents that I'm secretly studying. Now exams are around the corner, I haven't prepared, won't be able to prepare. I will need to repeat grade 11th and lose the trust of all my family members and be looked down upon. I've always been the bright child but life went downhill for me in 2024. I've never repeated a grade. My parents aren't expecting this at all. This will come as shock. I'll try to do something to harm my health around the exams so atleast I have a bit of an excuse. Perhaps from the next year, ill be able to perform because I've learnt from my mistakes. Still, I've never faced a worse situation in my entire life. None of my cousins have ever repeated a grade (besides my elder one who had to because he faced a gruesome injury) Imagine the shame everybody will feel and i'll feel, everybody let down. Everyone making fun of me. I have to live with them, live with those that I will be looked down upon. Around 8 members besides my own parents. Think about how bad this feels. Every one of my relative will know about this news and will be shocked. If I don't be extraordinary in my repeat year. It's over. (I've been feeling so down recently because I've realised this, haven't been eating much, can't face anyone, just ldaring and locked in my room.)

There isn't much advice that can be given but still it will be appreciated. Thank you.

I get how getting looked down can feel heavy on you, but you have to know that using social media and forum lurking as a scapegoat will only make things worse.
Do a 2 day digital detox where you quit everything and get your sleep locked in. Then focus on the exams, maybe use some stimulant if you struggle with attention. No need to harm yourself brah. Face it all and then you can do a victory lap on forum after it. Best of luck.

I will delete my social media after grade 11 ends. It has a lot of followers from my school. Ill add my only trusted friend to my new account (he already knows about this situation) and start afresh at a different place.

Yeah man its gonna be brutal, I live in a joint family with my relatives so i have to live with the people that potentally will make the most fun of me/ be disappointed in me
