It’s one of those Indian street food videos showing dirty shit.
I cannot really "explain" that, but it goes something like this.

1. Extreme overpopulation.

2. The dude who's selling the street food somehow believes he gains, "good karma" out of letting rats feast on it.

3. Curry itself seems dirty to some foreigners.

4. It's the norm to put hands on the food you eat.

This all starts making sense once you realize that the other areas of India, except Mumbai are largely uninhabited by normal people due to: Either the climate being too extreme, or the region not being developed enough( they face overpopulation still)

The exception is I'd say is some parts South India, but that's because there's not a lot of conflict going on there. People can behave like normal people and eat food hygienically(somewhat).

Antinatalism could help the country a lot tbh, but it'll never really be enforced upon because India's arranged marriage system goes against it.
