I will say I do notice the airways difference, they are much larger like it feels 50% bigger I don’t know how to explain it, just that I can breathe in more positions now that would have pinched off my airways before. but I have horrible swelling, the doctor says it’s normal but I am in so much pain. I have no idea if I will ascend once the swelling goes away but Mr pagnoni said that the movements went as expected

Welcome to the other side. I noticed the same, I woke up and felt like I could breathe for the first time and wondered how I never realized my breathing was that bad prior.

Stay on top of your meds religiously and try to get calories in as soon as you can!

Nice. Not sure if they have boost high calorie drinks in Italy but if they do, highly recommend. Very small carton is 500+ calories, so you don’t have to spend much time drinking to get a lot of calories down.

The swelling had me feeling like a bowling ball for 7-10 days. Then slowly better. My surgery was also about 6 hours, brutal.

Hang in there and distract yourself with tv as much as you can. People underestimate how dog shit you feel after bimax, it’s hard to explain unless you’ve had it haha.

How long are you planning to stay in italy

Prepare yourself - it's going to get worse before it gets better. Day 2 and 3 the swelling will be even more insane.

This. I didn’t realize this until shortly after my bimax that I actually still needed and wanted a few more things done. Correct one thing and you start to notice other flaws more, etc. It’s so intense that it feels like it should be a one and done Chad creator but it’s not. A few more smaller procedures stacked on and you can ascend significantly.

what do you wanna change

Pretty small things but some skin laser treatments, otoplasty to pin back my ears slightly, maybe buccal reduction but it’s early and I’m still too swollen to tell on that. Surgeon said he could have done buccal on me but he decided not to during surgery, not sure why, maybe he saw on the operating table with the advancement it stretched my skin enough to not need it.

my concern after bimax is probably lips/nose/philtrum. Fullness/width/ratios are good for those, i just hope it wont change a lot. If so lip lift/rhino(alar)plasty might be needed

I agree on this but my point of view is that the surgeries should be done by their worth, if the ROI is good then it's a good step.

The tricky part of the calculation here is that they’re cheaper done together - only one anaesthesia fee, hospital fee, and so on.

jk op you know what you’re talking about my dad does cosmetic plastic surgery and what you say sounds about right

The swelling lasts up to 1 month depending on your collagen levels and weather. Stay inside, a lot of patients put on a mask and go outside, which causes them to actually flake due to the dryness or clog areas of insicions by the scalpel.

Good luck OP! Hope you make it far!
