for the first time ever I ordered some anti-anxiety meds. I took them at a therapeutic dose, only .25mg (I didnt want to get fucked on benzos that shit leads to you getting arrested)
for 6 hours I felt like a totally normal, non neurotic person
-no belief that others where talking about me
-not ruminating on past events for hours
-not autistically simulating future showdowns with people I hate
-no utter fear of speaking a single word to anyone
-no stress just from hearing family moving around in my room (yes I get this)
was insane ngl. I didnt ‘feel’ anything
I just suddenly realised after an hour that I was having completely rational normal thoughts, without the worry and neurosis. no paranoia, no compulsive thoughts, normal emotional reactions.
ngl gonna use a tiny bit of benzo everytime I need to socialise with people im not 100% comfortable with. like I only cook once a week to avoid flatmates but it takes an hour or too to do the meal prep. it makes me fucking nervous to do it ngl. but now i can just take a little benzo and ii wont be scared to go in the kitchen.
