I’m 29 and from Cape Coral, FL. I’ve always been fit—5'11" and around 175 lb—but my face stayed relatively round regardless of my body composition. My main concerns were a weak chin, limited jawline definition, and some asymmetry that had bothered me for years.
I first tried a medspa in 2023. The result was uneven and somewhat lumpy, and it didn’t create the structural improvement I was looking for. That pushed me to research facial balancing and male facial anatomy more carefully. After months of research, I traveled to Miami to see Dr. Randy Lindgren. I was referred to him years ago by friends and after seeing how good they looked over the years of going to him, I just had to. Knowing people who have had good work done is the best way to really know who to trust with your face because reviews alone and nice websites are just not enough. His worked never caused issues and their faces don’t look like they have done anything at all- they look sculpted and lean, no signs of filler. I was warned that he is a little expensive, but I had already tried the less expensive medspa way and I regret it everyday.
The initial treatment consisted of:
6 syringes in the chin
2 syringes on each side of the jawline
Most of the product placed deeply along the bone to improve chin projection, length, and definition
A small amount used to smooth irregularities from the previous medspa treatment
Overall this was the best decision I ever made. Everyones been complimenting since- it was drastic how my face was less round and more structured. It’s like my face just came together after fixing my chin, it was incredible.
I later returned for a three-syringe touch-up to maintain the definition. Nearly three years after the original treatment, nothing has migrated and I love my results. One thing I learned is that filler migration and the feared “puffy” look depends on several factors, including the product, amount used, anatomy, movement in the area, and injection depth. Filler placed too superficially may be more likely to cause visible irregularities or migrate, while appropriate deep placement can help create a more defined structural result.
