3*12 or 2sets till failure?

Wich one ise better right now i am doing 3*12 but everyone tells me that its not the best for building muscle is it true or should i keep doint the 3*12
 
do 2 sets of 6-8 reps till failure.

Solution
Don’t listen to these brosplitters

1 Set 4-6 Reps 1-2 RIR EOD

Tap in to the hp (hypertrophypill)
 
Both work, don’t really think it matters in the end
