That isn’t a chin shield cut.I've heard this is a "chin shield genioplasty." Never saw before/afters of it.
Yes I’ve seen similar cuts where they used bone graft but idc how it’s called.This is what it looks like with the plate attached. Not sure how they get the two pieces to consolidate-I think maybe putting some bone graft in between.

In chin shield the cut looks like a shield which brings more bone forward to prevent deep mentolabial fold + the chin doesn’t get segmented.What's the difference?
