17 YEAR OLD TESTOSTERONE CYCLE

Been almost 3 months since I started my cycle so I thought I would document how it’s going so far as well as share my 8 week mark bloodwork.

17 (turn 18 in October) 5’11
Cycle begin: 7/10/2026
Starting weight: 150 lbs
Current weight: 166.8 lbs
Protocol: 150 mg Test E 2x/week — 300 mg/week total
Injection: IM, alternating thighs every injection
Training: PPL 6x/week
Diet: I don’t track calories strictly, but I’m probably around ~3,000 calories/day. High carb, high protein, little to no sugar, and generally try to keep my food pretty clean.

Progress
Biggest thing I have noticed is how easy progression in the gym has become.

Pretty much all of my lifts have increased significantly and the progression has continued exponentially.
Strength seems to increase week after week, and I get noticeably better pumps than I did before.

I’ve also gained about 17 lbs since starting, going from 150 → 166.8 lbs. Despite the quick weight gain, my body scan preformed same day as my blood work showed:
  • 166.8 lbs bodyweight
  • 86.0 lbs skeletal muscle mass
  • 15.8 lbs body fat
  • 9.5% Body Fat
  • 151.0 lbs fat-free mass
Obviously the numbers aren't perfect, so I don’t take those numbers as absolute, but visually I’ve stayed pretty lean while putting on a noticeable amount of size.

Havent taken physique pics since I’ve been away for college so here’s some from like 3 weeks ago.

Other things such as increase in drive and motivation have changed my life a lot. Recovery has also improved drastically. Overall I feel like Superman when training, eating and sleeping properly

One weird thing I’ve noticed is that my penis appears to have increased in length by roughly an inch. I honestly have no idea whether that’s related to androgen/DHT changes, continued development, or something else, so I’m not claiming testosterone caused it. Just something I’ve noticed during this period.

Side Effects
The biggest thing I’ve noticed recently is water retention.

My diet hasn’t been nearly as locked in over the last 2-3 weeks as I’ve moved out for college (which is no excuse and I will be locking back in), and I’ve definitely looked/ felt more watery. When I’m eating clean, getting plenty of potassium, training consistently and keeping everything else in check, I feel significantly better, keep a lean face, and don’t notice any water retention.

No acne for me. Skin has been great.

I’m genetically predisposed to male-pattern baldness so obviously the increase in DHT was gonna have an effect on me. I’ve have always had thin curly hair but I’ve noticed my hair becoming somewhat thinner since starting. I’m considering a topical 5AR inhibitor or finasteride if I see it continues to get worse.

Lastly obviously my testicles have pretty much completely atrophied. I used to have really nice big balls and now they’re tiny peas but I don’t care that much. LH and FSH are undetectable in lab.

Bloodwork
I got bloodwork done on 8/25
Here’s some main markers:

Hormones
  • Total testosterone: 1,374 ng/dL
  • Free testosterone: 44.2 ng/dL
  • Estradiol: 51 pg/mL
  • SHBG: 17 nmol/L
  • LH: <0.3
  • FSH: <0.3
  • IGF-1: 280

CBC
  • Hematocrit: 51.1%
  • Hemoglobin: 15.0 g/dL
  • RBC: 5.33 M/uL

Lipids
  • Total cholesterol: 146
  • LDL: 92
  • HDL: 40
  • Triglycerides: 73

Liver/kidney/metabolic
  • AST: 19
  • ALT: 15
  • Creatinine: 1.1
  • BUN: 13
  • A1C: 5.0%
  • Glucose: 82
Everything for the most part looks pretty good. The things I’m paying the most attention to is the cholesterol levels. I’m gonna attribute the low HDL to poor habits I have like smoking and the hematocrit being slightly elevated due to the blood test being so early in the morning and I was fresh off the wake up dehydrated getting my blood drawn. Have experienced 0 side effects related to elevated estrogen so my estradiol at 51 pg/ml doesn’t bother me.

Peptides

Alongside the testosterone I’ve been using:
  • Retatrutide — 2 mg/week
  • Glutathione — 500 mg 3x/week
  • GHK-Cu — 2 mg/day
  • BPC-157/TB-500 blend — 2 mg/day
  • KPV — 500 mcg/day
Overall

So far, the physical progress has been way beyond what I was used to naturally. Strength is climbing quickly, muscle gain has been very noticeable, and I’ve managed to stay relatively lean despite gaining ~17 lbs. Recovery has improved significantly. Confidence and drive have increased and life just feels better on when you have supraphysiological levels of testosterone.

I’m still figuring out exactly how long I want to continue and whether I’ll make any changes going forward such as increasing dose.

I’ll attach the bloodwork and InBody scan for anyone who wants to look at the numbers.
Very interested in hearing from your guy’s experiences have been around the 3 month mark. I’m also unsure on how long to keep this cycle going.
Should I stay on test forever?
Should I add other compounds?

Any advice would be appreciated thanks for reading.
