Why the fuck can we not simply 3D print a new mandible to replace your mandible? It’s 2020.
LeFort 3 is already a thing, where they literally peel off your entire face to work on the bone underneath. So the same could be done to replace the jaw bone while keeping the skin and the nerves.
The biggest problem would be teeth, but they can just use fake ceramic teeth, it’s not like real teeth are any better.
