Just wanted to put out here if anybody is considering or contemplating taking accutane, do it. Absolutely life changing and personally the only side effect i’ve had is mild skin dryness.

yeh accutane is great especially on a low dose like 20mg. the higher dose u take per day the worst the side effects are. its worth prolonging the course if you have adverse reactions on higher doses, ofc

Appreciate it a lot man. Personally i was on 40mg for a month and then 80mg for the rest and still barely had any side effects

It mainly targets acne but along with that it brings down inflammation. I saw my face get a little slimmer and defined.

Thanks man I believe my dermatologist was talking about doing a type of laser treatment one i’m fully done with accurate to clear it up more and get rid of scarring. Not sure what she was specifically thinking of though.

lucky. i had intensely itching feet which meant i could only sleep out of pure exhaustion . was really horrid. but going down in dose helped

i don’t drink at all and my dermatologist did blood tests once a month for the first 3, once the levels were shown as stable i stopped the tests

yeah kinda i started to take it because it was rapidly getting bad and for the first 2 months it kept getting worse. after that it started to clear up but i believe it’s because i could only use moisturizer and nothing else to not dry out the skin
