4.5 MONTH ACCUTANE UPDATE

I've been on accutane since 15th of january and firstly i took 40 mg a day for like 2 months then i switched to 50 mg a day which im still on.

At the beggining i've had a CRAZY purge like i was getting massive cysts everywhere which was kinda expected but very annoying.

The purging stage left me with 3 deep scars on my left cheek and A LOT of PIE like my whole face is full of dark purple or red spots
i also have like red craters on my face where i didn't have any acne so idk why did that appear there??

As for the side effects it was: dry lips and dry skin on my face and body

BUT THE WORST PART

At this stage of my course i should be acne free and not get any more new pimples, but somehow in the past 5 days i've got like 8 new pimples on my face
they are not too deep 3 of them are but thats too much considering how far i am in my course

also what are those red craters that just randomly spawned

WTF SHOULD I DO like why is my acne not stopping please someone help it was getting better and i didn't get much acne then suddenly this happened

Don't know why you went gung-ho with 40mg/day then decided to UP your dosage to 50mg/day.
Taper your dosage down.

Isotretinoin does not completely prohibit acne. Pimples are normal. "how far" you are in your "course" is irrelevant.
Just stick it out, but drop your dosage down progressively to like 20-30mg/day. Any more is unnecessary unless you're syndrome case.

this happened to me once lower ur dose take 30 for a month then the next month take 40 your skin prob isnt functioning right it happens and keep moisturizing
