When I got braces, I got my 4 premolars extracted and it was due to having a bimaxillary protrusion. Was this a good choice? Am I cooked because I got my premolars removed even though I had bimaxillary protrusion?

YOU CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT IT NOW.

yes this is pretty bad

idk how old you are, but go see 2-3 airway focused orthodontists and compare their opinions and potential plans for your case

premolar extractions are always 100% due to a narrow palate or inadequate jaw development, its retarded that orthos would choose to extract than to fix the core problem with palate expansion and/or bimax

I’m 16, is this too late to fix my recession?

not too late at all but you got to act pretty fast, most likely you will need jaw surgery
And also don’t you think I should wait till my jaw stops growing until surgery?

Oh, I see. But how do I proceed with that? And how I larp into it?
dont have to larp anything brah if you had premolar extractions and visible recession any competent ortho will probs recommend surgery. just do research on the best surgeons in your country and what orthos they use

Oh I see, but by severe enough, does this mean I have trouble breathing, bite issues, or what would make it severe enough?
