What major is a good idea will depend on iq and eq. If you're a good looking social guy with average iq your best bet is probably finance if you can get into a decent school then network like crazy, but if you're ugly and socially retarded but high iq then obviously go for computer science. The CS interviews are more "objective" than other job interviews since you have to do leetcode so looks arent important for the job.
