The world's 100 richest individuals earned their first $1 million at age 37, on average. The average millionaire is 57 years old. As of 2013, 42% of millionaires are baby boomers (between 57 and 75 years of age), the majority of any age group.

That's not that much because boomers are the largest demographic

they're also old as fuck now and all the money in the world cannot buy them youth and virility, and make their dusty bones capable of much independence or autonomy. also saving that money for their progeny is cope because it's likely not their kid, or they're divorced and the kid is being raised by a single mother. not being a billionaire since age 10 is absolutely brutal
 
no doubt 99% of them inherited it from parents or divorce
