It's weird how people still use it as a catch-all for all online deviancy when nothing about is really alt anymore.
Their last oopsie was Gamergate and it is already 9 years old--there are kids on 4tran who are younger than that.
Majority of the users there don't like anime and never even heard of Azumanga Daioh...
But I guess that being allowed to say nigger without being instantly censored is extremely wacky so who knows.

Not really because the /pol/ shooters use chan lingo and were clearly raised/groomed by the board while facebook shooters merely use it as a service

4chan is a "service" too and websites bigger than it have their own endemic cultures, it's just a byproduct of how you interact online
