i was 5'7 in the 8th grade (12 yrs old) and now im 6'3 in 11th (16 yrs old), you're not short for your age tbh. however i had a 5'9 dad and 5'8 mom, got more height genes from my mom's side.

it depends on which side's genes r stronger in u or wtv the official biology term for it is. if you've got more from your mom's side, you're gonna be shorter, if you got more from your dad's side, you're gonna be taller.
