That aside, at 16, almost 17 your growth plates are mostly close, actually they may even be closed, but you can't figure that out without an X-ray. If they're open, you will still have some growth left, and could use HGH to make the best out of it.

If you aren't up to that, then start praying that your growth ends at 21, and you gain at least 1 inch. Because 5'9" is better than 5'8", isn't it?

Alternatively, you can also fraud with shoe lifts and glucosamine+msm (for morning height retention)
