In Australia, 50K AUD annually is very good for one person. Currently you can live a moderately lavish life with 50K AUD if you are alone and have no real plans to save up money for. But if you have a gf/wife, then you need 75-100K AUD at least imo. And if you have kids (two or more) as well, then at least 150K AUD per year is needed.
