They could just be average-looking, but tall men, who have status, as well as the rare few chads, or men who are in ENM relationships.

30-49 age bracket men are still significantly more single than women... The only age that this reverts is 65+, but that's only because so many men start dying off at this point, creating a huge majority of women (when you get to ages 80+, there are as many as 3-4 women per 1 man alive).

Because there are roughly 51% men and 49% women in society (under 65 years old), the numbers just don't add up unless a small minority of guys is playing 99% of women (i.e. they have several FWB's or false monogamic relationships going on at once with these women, while the women stay loyal to this 'chad').
