Of course, I'm still researching but he either forgot to mention or doesn't know that MSCs (mesenchymal stem cells) differentiate into chondroprogenitors when the right signaling occurs, ultimately replenishing and increasing the population of chondroprogenitor cells.

This text gives the message that the chondroprogenitor count is predetermined and exhausts as they differentiate, ultimately leading to the cessation of long bone growth.

Obviously, the MSC (mesenchymal stem cell) pool for this process doesn't seem to be inexhaustible and runs out eventually.

One could theoretically increase telomerase in their chondroprogenitor cells to increase their replicative lifespan and delay the onset of senescence.
