If I’m using a 5/16” needle, at what angle should I inject it for a subcutaneous injection? I always thought it was 90 degrees but now I’m seeing some people saying it should be 45.

just make sure it gets into the fat layerIf I’m using a 5/16” needle, at what angle should I inject it for a subcutaneous injection? I always thought it was 90 degrees but now I’m seeing some people saying it should be 45.
That’s what I’m asking, what angle do you use to get it into that fat layer.just make sure it gets into the fat layer
doesnt matter. just grab the fat and if its very little go more 45 but if you can grab a decent bit then any is fineThat’s what I’m asking, what angle do you use to get it into that fat layer.
Thanks, in the edit do you mean like if you can’t pinch an inch tall of skin you’re lean?depends on fatty tissue
if you have very little fatty tissue do 45, if you have a bit do 90, that's all
EDIT: You're generally lean if you can't pinch more than 1 inch of skin
