Not a good example. Long distance running has a much larger negative effect on strength and size gains than any other activity. Lyle Mcdonals has good info on this. Only time you should be running is if you are being chased.

If you aren’t getting bigger, it absolutely is not a genetic fibre dominance issue, that’s a fact. You can cop out and blame genetics, but if you can’t gain muscle mass, that’s not a genetic fault, you are doing something wrong. How you look will be based on genetics.

Type 1 fibers r slow twitch, fatigue resistant, oxidative, and have low hypertrophy capacity. Ideal for endurance sports (marathon, cycling).

Type 3 fibers are fast twitch, glycogen rich, and have high hypertrophy capacity. Ideal for explosive sports (bodybuilding, sprinting, wrestling).

You missed the part where it literally does not matter at all.

Your initial response to what i said was “pray you aren’t type 1 muscle fibre” implying that if you are, you aren’t going to grow or will grow minimally.

Yes some people will have a better responses than others to training, this is water asf. But to think that fibre dominance is important to where you can’t put on substantial amounts of muscle in your first year of training properly and on roids is complete cope.

Fibre dominance is something no one has to worry about and is not what is stopping people from having a desirable physique. Forgetting inserions and physique, this is an amount of muscle mass achievable by 99% of people easily:
