Because you don't "make" money, you take money from people. He has it all wrong. He thinks he can just come up with some random thing and money will just come flying from the sky. No buddy boyo you need to learn some skills or if you have enough capital start a business. But it's safer to just learn a particular set of skills and to get some work experience anywhere to market yourself so you can get good jobs and "take" money from your boss who's taking money from his clients or whatever.
