I remember I watched a veritasium video in highschool which showed how a hotel with infinite rooms can be full. This is because some infinities are bigger than others like the set of real numbers is larger than the set of the naturals. The veritasium guy explains it in a very intuitive way using Cantors diagonalization proof.


I thought this was the coolest thing ever so I went to show it to some of my buddies in engineering class, I explained it to them but they just didn't get it then they called me stupid and essentially said "bro are you retarded an infinite hotel can't run out of rooms"
