A failed attempt to ask out asian foid to the dance got me feeling nothing

I will keep it simple, I was thinking that an easy pickins for a relationship would be a weird asian girl that is in drama club. But it seems that being weird comes with obstacles. Asked her today before heading home and she said she already planned to go with friends. I said the mandatory afterword and dipped. Should I still go for her or should I consider other options, I mean it was a dance I asked for, not her number.
Though I don't feel any sort of sadness rn, if i do decide to keep trying it might make me.
But honestly I would like a toast for this being the first time I ever got rejected by a girl, finally it's not a girl asking me and me sperging out by ghosting or rejecting.
