Nigga so a family member bought me clothes and ion like them, its some npc type shit. But i cant wear them cause they're nd af and ill get made fun of, but at the same time i don't want them to be sad cause im not wearing them and waste money.
Didn't even give me a reciept...
So i could ask for the reciept and return them and get the money but that would make them sad or something?!?!?
Or i could keep them but I'd only wear like 1 thing which is a full black shirt...:feelsrope:

honestly, euphemisms will save your ass. Instead of saying "i dont like them", say "hey, i appreciate the gesture and the gift, but I dont think that these clothes are the style i'm trying to go for right now, i'm very sorry but if you have them, could i please get the receipts for them?"

sometimes just honestly expressing what you think is the way to go. think about it, if you gifted someone some clothes and they told you they weren't their style but they appreciated the gift truly, would you be offended? i would understand the situation, and that's why you gotta think what you'd do in their shoes in situations like this and sometimes just say what you think for real. :feelsokman:

okay, a gift you picked out wasn't quite what the other wanted, but in the end, how could you have known their style? picking out clothes as gifts is pretty hard unless they are really bland, and hence it's normal for them to be returned and exchanged.:feelsokman:

remember to use euphemisms and make the idea that you find the gesture really kind clear, as well as stating clearly why you "cant make the clothes fit your style", rather than "not liking them".
