this happened a while ago. me and friends were 21, she was about 15. i went up to the two 15 yr olds, forcing myself to take action and being the boldest of the group, and invited them to hangout with us, she was cold and said they were waiting for other guys they were to meet up with so i said oh okay and walked back to my friends, but halfway through one of my friends joined me and wing manned me and he stayed and the two girls talked to him very excitedly.

then later that night the one i was talking to hooked up with him (the apparent other guys never seemed to appear), then hooked up with my other friend as well, and never talked to me again once.

so no being confident, bold, nice, doesn't work.

i had a cool group of friends (them) and also somewhat nerdy group of friends. a girl from the nerdy group actually asked me out, only girl to ever do so. i rejected her. then later i forced myself to go on 2 dates with her and when at the end she looked at me to kiss her i just couldn't do it.
