A Good Day to Die is a Native American phrase which people incorrectly assumed to be a war cry, a war chief would say to his men before battle.
This is in fact a misinterpretation
The phrase comes from the Native American idea that you should be ready to die at any day, with no regrets. That's why it's important to begin each day fresh, and not let past problems or present distractions cloud how you should live.
That is what "A good day to die means." To die on a specific day you're proud of, a fulfilled day, not caring about all the years that happened before it.
So, for you, was today A Good Day to Die?
