If you ever ascend, don’t try to show off too much to people that knew the old you. Society likes it when you show raw unfiltered potential from the get go, rather than having to work at it to reach said potential. By working towards reaching your full potential, it’s indicating that you’re frauding your genetics, which would destabilize the social order, if too many men ascend.
If you want to climb the social ladder and increase status after ascending, it’s best to improve your personality incrementally. People are mostly going to judge you based upon first impressions, so you aren’t starting out with a blank slate, but rather a canvas that is already half painted. That’s why it’s best to either make new friends or stay off the grid for a little after ascending. Of course, you can show some progress to assert dominance over your competition, but don’t overdo it. At least wait a year or so, before you fully change your personality.
