Great thread. The only experience I have with makeup is using BB cream, but here’s a piece of advice if you use concealer or BB cream: make sure your skin is moisturized. If there’s any flaky or dry patches that you put BB cream on it, looks giga obvious.

I wash my face, moisturize, let it dry, then apply BB cream and let that dry so I don’t go outside looking super shiny.

Make sure there isn’t any product caked up in creases/folds on your skin. Blend it in well around your nostrils, eyelids, browridge, etcetera. And make sure it’s blended on the edges of your face/jawline.

Interestingly enough Makeup was first invented by the Egyptians back in 6000 BCE and was used by men and women to appeal to the gods they worshiped, not very necessary to the thread but found interesting to include on its lore.

Now I want to go over the ingredients that come in makeup, as a lot of them are not good for your skin .
The skin yes is your body’s largest organ and what you put on it matters, a lot of common ingredients you will see in makeup products are

. Talcum powder
. Artificial fragrance
. Phthalates
. Petroleum
. BHT
. Parabens
I listed a few but not only can these common makeup ingredients mess with your hormones they can clog pores and irritate skin leading to acne.
Now what you buy doesn’t have to be perfect but avoiding a lot of these will be beneficial in the long run.
Now the fun part going over painting your face!

. Eyebrow pencils

I’ve used multiple types and all go over all of them

. standard brow pencil, 6/10.

it’s bullshit, it’s just a regular brow pencil that’s split into 4 and doesn’t even do what it’s marketed on doing, sort of waste of money But it still works on painting them.

this pen works by actually creating hair like strokes on your brows going one by one making it look so natural it’s insane, here’s some Spanish dude demonstrating how it works.


Now he uses one by the brand nyx but the ingredients are low quality so I recommend the anastasia Beverly Hills one it’s more expensive but trust better quality ingredients it’s worth it.
. Mascara for lashes

Ive used two I’ll go over both

People like clavicular have used this at clubs party’s to make there eyes way brighter and striking and I can confirm this works, use a little bit at the waterline, of course the one I use is organic with clean ingredients coconut oil vitamin E etc.

BB cream and mineral sunscreen in one, covers blemishes well and looks natural blending into your skin very nicely, protects skin against the sun so for anti aging this is a must, only issue is that it can be hard to wash off with just water so use a face cleanser.

Now what you buy doesn’t have to be perfect but avoiding a lot of these will be beneficial in the long run.
Now the fun part going over painting your face!

I’ve used multiple types and all go over all of them

Another thing: a good realistic beard pencil and a white pencil and enhancements

If yoy have patches or a thin beard a beard pencil can help enhance it a lot, you can also define your hairline and beardline and heck even eyebrow line with a white pencil, but u gotta do it very lightly, like this

U can use a tinted lip balm it can have that effect but you need to dot small lines above your upper lip like this , dont just draw a line straight across you need to put small dots in order for it to look natrual , after that just rub it in w your finger with some vaseline . It will fraud a cupids bow and a bigger upper lip , shade should always match your lip color and should be matte .

BB cream and mineral sunscreen in one, covers blemishes well and looks natural blending into your skin very nicely, protects skin against the sun so for anti aging this is a must, only issue is that it can be hard to wash off with just water so use a face cleanser.

I feel like tinted sunscreen better than bb cream, also instead of pencil brows and lashes I would go for tinting with hair dye, looks more natural and stays for like 2 weeks at least. Also u didnt mention powder to matify face, gay shine is fucking real with using skin care and only way for me is to use face powder after all steps.

The bb cream I put is a sunscreen with spf50 if you read carefully, and I didn’t meantion matifying cause if you blend in your makeup well and don’t use a lot like I said in the thread there is no need to, also I suggest dying eyebrows and using a brow pen, add extra hair with the fine tip at the ends and corners, trust they will look good.

Great thread. The only experience I have with makeup is using BB cream, but here’s a piece of advice if you use concealer or BB cream: make sure your skin is moisturized. If there’s any flaky or dry patches that you put BB cream on it, looks giga obvious.

I wash my face, moisturize, let it dry, then apply BB cream and let that dry so I don’t go outside looking super shiny.

Make sure there isn’t any product caked up in creases/folds on your skin. Blend it in well around your nostrils, eyelids, browridge, etcetera. And make sure it’s blended on the edges of your face/jawline.

What about neck area or shall I just blend it in from the jawline

thanks for the water reply bhai. its Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499) and Carmine (CI 75470) that is used for the coloring in the lip balm, sounds complicated to get but apparently only costs 15-40$ and you need extremly low doses of them. would probably be more reasonable to search for an alternative as a private consumer

Mine costed 5 dollars for a pack, and they have hydrated fine for me must be a personal problem I’m guessing but making them if u have the money or time sounds cool u can look into beet root powder or any vegetable powder to make it tinted.
