Obviously many people here know that bonesmashing is cope, but for those who don't let me explain why:
Why Do People Bonesmash?
People bonesmash because of Wolf's Law Theory from the 19th century stating that bones adapt to mechanical stress.
1 Bonesmashing Misinterpretes Wolf's Law
Tendons pulling at their attachments dictates how bones grow over the years. Tendons basically being a strong and flexible tissue that connects a muscle to a bone. But the problem being that bone smashing brings blunt force trauma to one who bonesmashes, blunt force trauma being caused by external forces. Whereas mechanical stress simplified are internal forces.
2 Bonesmashing Damages Your Face
Bonesmashing could seriously damage your face. If you hit certain veins in your face, this could result in nerve damage. If you hit blood vessels which are of many within your face this could result in bleeding which may lead to an airway obstruction, suffocation, blindness, etc.
3 There Is No Scientific Proof Backing Up Bonesmashing
To those who believe in bonesmashing, show any scientific source that supports and mentions bonemashing because of Wolf's Law? I'm curious. Oh and don't forget to also show a source proving that bone smashing gives you symmetrical bone growth.

Tendons shape bones during embryonic development
In all vertebrates, including humans, bones, muscles and tendons work together to give the skeleton its characteristic balance of stability and movement. Now, new research uncovers a previously unrecognized interaction between tendons, which connect muscles to bones, and the developing embryonic...
