A guy makes fun of me for being tall

I'm currently in highschool, and I have a guy in my classroom that make jokes about me being "tall" trying to ragebait me or something, I make jokes about him too ofcourse.
But here is my point, is it really something bad to joke about someone being tall?, I'm 6'1, he's 5'7 or so. (I'm not consider myself tall at all, but I'm a little bit taller than most of guys here).
I forgot to tell that when I joke with his height, saying to him that he is a garden gnome, he gets a lil angry lol.
