Intelligence quota is something everybody respect from the high IQ guy will get more praise for his high IQ then the low IQ guy but what people fail to understand is that intelligence quota is simply pattern recognition. Just cuz someone can be good at recognizing patterns does it make them a logical person automatically their cognitive dissonance which is them ignoring facts to spare their feelings or sense of belief or even since of community will never allow their brain to fully unlock the true computing greatness it is because they will fill their mind with cope because it spares them the negative feelings that is truth this is why you can meet people who are super smart but are also religious this is their cognitive bias speaking for them because they don't want to believe there is nothing after this life. This is also how someone with a on record high IQ can become a financial failure who is super impulsive. They have bad cognitive dissonance IQ is not everything what I believe everything is is the pursuit the truth no matter how ugly or how comforting that truth is truth is law I spare no room in my mind for cope you shouldn't either.

Actually there's no huge correlation meaning you can be high IQ and still fall into high amounts of cope or lower IQ or average IQ individual can understand what isn't isn't true because they don't fight the conflicting thoughts they just accept what they conclude

tbf iq is a rather skewed system of measuring intelligence, as you said high iq often means recognising patterns, but just recognising patterns doesnt guarantee success

Not necessarily success I only said financial success because half of being financially successful it's just being logical with your money and not spending it on bullshit my argument is that being high IQ doesn't guarantee you to be a logical person people often think intelligence is simply logicalness but this could be further from the truth they're not really correlated at all intelligence is just your brain's ability to solve problems by picking out what is and isn't important. Someone's cognitive dissonance may hinder their ability to pick the right choice because there's a choice they want to be right and then a choice that's actually right they might pick the choice they want just because it makes him feel better.
