But you've gotta find her physically attractive to some degree. I've never been able to increase my level of physical attraction for a person after setting eyes on her for the first time. Doesn't matter how she feels about me or how interesting she turns out to be. And it doesn't have anything to do with being shallow, because I'm definitely not.

It's just that physical attraction is something for me is independent from anything else and there's nothing I could ever do to change that. So I had to find someone who I found pretty and hot right off the bat who also checked many other boxes.

It took me a long time to find one for me. I always wanted to get married and was ready to settle down without sowing oats. I've dated girls. She gad to be someone I coukd fall in love with. When I was very young, like mid teens, that was easy. It just had to be a girl with a certain look that struck me, not necessarily having to do with level of beauty. As I got older and less naive though it changed. She had to have that certain kind of look and also be a good person. After going to China at 23 I thought I would end up getting married very soon, simply because I had always been so attracted to Asians. I never went there for that purpose but I just though it would end up happening. I was very wrong.

In China I ended up dating a lot of girls who were pretty, and good natured enough, but I still knew I could never love them based on their personality. At one point I almost married one of these girls thinking I was being stupid. Thankfully I didn't. In the end it took me 6 years in a country where I found most girls attractive to finally find the right one. A woman I fell in love with at first sight based on appearance who turned out to be good natured as well. When I first saw my wife whom I met at work I thought she was lovely, and I could tell just by looking she wasn't a whore. In China it can be both easier to tell and harder to tell that sort of thing. Still I thought there was a good chance she would be a proud uppity bitch. She wasn't though. For me, with her looks and personality she was a one in a million.

Anyways, I'm glad that you're happy and congratulations. Model tier looks are nothing without a good natured spirit.
