*TLDR people don't actually say the truth, they say what they think they should say (to fit in or look better, appear successful and normative/conforming) (usually whats normative according to their current POV), making social media statements a performance rather than a reflection of truly whats in their mind or actual objective reality. False imagery such as this serves to amplify the mirage effect of social media (it always had that).
Do you really think all these faceless foid profiles with radical femcel opinions actually did these things OR they're just larping so their friends see their comments
Clearly its the latter. Of course a portion of them actually relate, however a big portion of them are also larping (look at the likes and engagement). Takeaway: most people larp to fit in or look better (water) and also: radical femcel opinions are cool now apparently, as well as any story about negative or positive sexual or relationship experiences, bad relationship advice etc. These people know that but they intentionally comment these things merely to fit in and look good for the people that know them.
This, however, creates a positive feedback loop where the algorithm rage baits the receiving end (opposite gender, male) for engagement and therefore causes an increase in radicalizing and negative views
