A long midface is not caused by downgrowth

A long looking midface is caused by shitty facial thirds like a short lower third or hairline

but the actual ratio in itself is not effected by down ward growth of the face, if it was then a simple Bimax ccw rotation would be able to fix your midface length which it can’t

It’s caused by bad iPd combined with unbalanced facial thirds

the worst cases of long mid-face are caused by an abnormally lengthened nose.

A droopy nose and a weak brow bone can cause a long looking nose as well
